1. Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Verta, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you should not use the app.

These terms form a binding agreement between you and ScryptFyre LLC with respect to your use of Verta.

2. Eligibility and Permitted Use

You may use Verta only in compliance with applicable laws, platform rules, and these terms.

Verta is intended for personal, lawful use as a digital photo frame and weather display application. You may not use the app in a way that interferes with its operation, misuses platform services, or violates the rights of others.

3. License to Use the App

Subject to these terms, ScryptFyre LLC grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to download and use Verta on a device that you own or control, solely for your personal use.

This license does not transfer ownership of the app or any related intellectual property. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

4. App Functionality and Device Permissions

Verta may request access to device features such as location services, photo libraries, or other permissions necessary to provide app functionality. You may choose whether to grant these permissions, but some features may not function correctly if required permissions are denied.

Weather-related features depend on third-party data sources and device-level permissions. Those features may be unavailable, delayed, or inaccurate at times.

5. Local Storage and User Content

Verta is designed to operate primarily using settings, preferences, and content selections stored on your device. You are responsible for the photos, albums, and other content you choose to display through the app.

You represent that you have the necessary rights or permissions to use any content displayed through Verta. ScryptFyre LLC does not claim ownership of your photos or personal content.

6. Advertisements

The free version of Verta may display advertising, including banner advertisements served through third-party advertising providers such as Google AdMob.

You acknowledge that ad-supported functionality may change over time and that ad delivery may depend on third-party systems outside the control of ScryptFyre LLC.

7. Purchases, Subscriptions, and Restores

Verta may offer paid features, including a Pro version made available through a monthly or yearly subscription, subject to platform availability.

All billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and payment processing are handled by the applicable app marketplace or platform provider, including the Apple App Store or Google Play. ScryptFyre LLC does not process or store your payment card information.

If supported by the relevant platform, you may restore qualifying purchases using the same store account through which the original purchase was made.

8. Platform Terms

If you download Verta through a third-party app marketplace, including the Apple App Store or Google Play, your use of the app is also subject to the applicable marketplace terms, rules, and policies.

In the event of a conflict between these terms and mandatory platform requirements, the mandatory platform requirements will control to the extent necessary.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from Verta except to the extent such restrictions are prohibited by applicable law.

You may not use the app to violate laws, infringe intellectual property rights, interfere with platform services, or attempt to disrupt or bypass app functionality, subscriptions, advertisements, or technical safeguards.

10. Availability, Updates, and Changes

Verta is provided on an as available and as updated basis. ScryptFyre LLC may modify, suspend, update, discontinue, or limit features of the app at any time, with or without notice.

You acknowledge that features, interface elements, supported devices, and service integrations may evolve over time as the app is improved or maintained.

11. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verta is provided on an as is and as available basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, or uninterrupted availability.

ScryptFyre LLC does not warrant that the app will always be error-free, secure, continuously available, or compatible with every device, operating system version, or third-party service.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScryptFyre LLC and its affiliates, officers, members, employees, contractors, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, content, goodwill, revenue, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use Verta.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of ScryptFyre LLC for any claim arising out of or relating to Verta will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for the app or related subscription during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Termination

These terms remain in effect until terminated. Your rights under these terms will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with them.

You may stop using Verta at any time by discontinuing use of the app and deleting it from your device. Termination will not affect provisions that by their nature should survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and other legal protections.

14. Changes to These Terms

ScryptFyre LLC may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When updates are made, the revised version will be posted on this page and the updated date will be changed accordingly.

Your continued use of Verta after updated terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
